Key West Road Construction
On, Monday, April 16, 2012, The Florida Department of Transportation will start a roadway project on North Roosevelt Boulevard from Eisenhower Drive to US1, and SR A1A/South Roosevelt Blvd from US1 to the Riviera Canal.

By Sea
Key West Bight Ferry Terminal: For passengers from Ft. Myers Beach and Marco Island on Florida’s southwest coast, and Miami on the east coast, it’s approximately 3.5 hours aboard state-of-the-art ferries operated by Key West Express.
By Land:
Airport Transportation:
Upon arrival at Key West International Airport, there are several means of available transportation and because Key West is a small island, it won’t cost you much to be taken anywhere.
From Key West International Airport:
Turn right out of airport, follow road along South Roosevelt Blvd., which ends at Bertha Street, veer right until Flagler Avenue and make a left onto Flagler. Follow Flagler Avenue to Reynolds Street and make a right. At the next light, which is South Street, turn left. Continue on South Street until you arrive at (508) Southernmost on the Beach, (506) La Mer Hotel and (504) Dewey House on your left. For Southernmost Hotel in the USA, turn right on Duval Street.
From US Highway 1:
Take US1 South to the Florida Keys. When you reach the island, stay to the right of the downtown area. US1 becomes North Roosevelt Blvd. Follow this until it becomes Truman Avenue. Make a left on Duval Street. For the three beach front properties, continue until South Street, make a left to get to the Dewey House, La Mer Hotel and Southernmost on the Beach.
From Miami International Airport:
Take LeJeune Road south to 836 West. Take the Florida Turnpike south toward Key West. The Turnpike ends at US1 in Florida City. Follow US1 south as far as it goes and you will be in Key West.
From Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport:
Exit the airport and follow the signs for 595 West. Take 595 to the Florida Turnpike and follow the signs for the Florida Keys and Key West. From the North, take the Florida Turnpike south and follow the signs for Homestead and Key West. The Florida Turnpike ends at US1 in Florida City.
From the North:
Take the Florida Turnpike south and follow the signs for Homestead and Key West. The Florida Turnpike ends at US1 in Florida City. Follow US! south to the Florida Keys.
From Florida’s West Coast:
Take I-75 Alligator Alley east to the Miami exit, and south to the Turnpike Extension.
Car Rental:
