"We just LOVE staying at this hotel, last year we stayed Southernmost on the Beach and this year we stayed at the hotel. Both experiences were wonderful. I can't tell you (or everyone I know) how great your staff is. What impresses me the most is it's not just the staff who are "supposed" to be good at customer service, like the front desk personnel. It's the housekeepers, bartenders, painters...practically any staff we encoutner who make eye contact, say hello, and are friendly and polite. The only pther place we've found with the same type of customer service is at Disney. Plus let me add that both hotels are exceptionally clean, the pool areas, the outdoor bathrooms, etc. I've had people tell me I could find "cheaper" places to stay but I refuse to go anywhere else just to save money. Seriously, in today's time where it seems like customer service is taking a back burner your facility stands out. Exceptional service is worth payng for. Please pass on to your staff they're doing a fantastic job and that we'll be back next year!" - May, 2013

La Mer Hotel was built in Key West around the early 1900s and received a multi million dollar renovation in 2003. The Dewey House was once the original home of philosopher and educator John Dewey, and remained a private residence until almost 10 years ago. In 2003, the Dewey House received an interior makeover and her newly renovated luxury guest rooms now include marble baths, Jacuzzi tubs, classic furnishings, and plenty of amenities to pamper all our guests. La Mer Hotel & Dewey House have received the AAA Four Diamond Award and have 19 guest rooms.
